The bike competition was a new thing for the vw show and the idea came from steve (cooking in the camper) so thank you steve.
We had such a great turn out that this will be a definite regular competition for the foreseeable future, thanks to all that entered.

A BIG thank you for sharing the story with us. I was told you were looking for me at the show to get a copy of the photo.

The pics we display on this site are compressed so they show quicker, so if you would like the original image taken from the show i will gladly send via email.

Hi, our little girl won 3rd prize with our Mark 1 Tomahawk. This was my bike when I was six and my dad has had it in the garage ever since. With a bit of tlc we brought it back to its original condition (not quite finished yet). Forty years on and it wins a prize, I was a very proud mummy. Thank you
